Chaba II Wind Energy Facility
The proposed development of a wind energy facility (WEF) in the Komga area, Amathole District, in the Eastern Cape. The wind farm will host approximately thirty five (35) turbines, with a potential power output of one hundred and five (105) megawatts(MW). The Eskom Chaba substation is located within the proposed WEF area, and will be the site where the energy generated by the WEF is fed into the Eskom grid.
